Michael P. Bienvenu joined the firm in 2025 bringing over 31 years of experience in general civil litigation practice to the firm. Michael’s practice focuses on professional liability defense, products liability defense, general casualty defense, real estate broker/agent errors and omissions defense, real estate litigation, premises liability, insurance coverage, election law, corporate litigation, and commercial litigation in both federal and state court.  Michael has represented Fortune 500 companies and individuals in a wide array of complex legal matters and has extensive trial and appellate experience resulting in over 70 reported federal and state court decisions.  Michael has argued numerous appeals in all(but one) Louisiana appellate circuit courts, the Louisiana Supreme Court, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and before numerous administrative and professional trade commissions and associations.

Michael is highly respected for his creative and aggressive litigation strategies and has managed thousands of cases in his career. By applying over three decades of legal experience, Michael is able to identify the specific legal and practical issues at the heart of each legal dispute in order to develop an effective strategy for the resolution of the case.  Michael strongly believes in achieving his clients’ objectives through the most efficient and cost-effective approach.  Michael has achieved an AV Preeminent Rating in Martindale-Hubbell (both the Lawyers Edition and Judicial Edition)and is a frequent lecturer for various professional trade associations and many of corporate clients.
